Public access to a Windows Live Communication Server (LCS) |
|
Hi.
First of all I don't know if this is the right section of the forum to put this question. I want to make a proof of concept to a company and to develop my application I need to sniff the packets that Office Communicator Mobile exchange with the LCS.
I've installed LCS on a VMWare machine and I can log in to it with MSN 5.1 on the same machine where the LCS is installed.
I've put another machine on the same domain that I create on the LCS server and still can make login with MSN 5.1
My problem is giving access to a machine that is unable to join the domain... I can ping the machine with the LCS server but when I try to do a REGISTER it returns a 401 Unauthorized and I can't login.
Can anyone explain me who can I give public access to the LCS? What I need is that a ordinary machine could connect to the LCS server without being in the domain...
Thanks a lot
