I recommend either office.developer.automation or perhaps word.vba.general. You need to specify the version of Word with which you're working. It's also unclear exactly what you're looking for, when you post in an appropriate group, include more information:

• How are you wanting to populate this list? Where should the list of "standard comments" come from?
• Should this button and list be available only to certain documents? For all documents?
