I want to add multiple file attachments to a number of scenario work items. VSTS 2005 only seems to have the option to add one file at a time.

Is there a way to add files without having to browse all the way from the top directory down to the next file I want to add?

And can I select multiple files in one action?

In V1, VSTF doesn't support selecting multiple files to attach for a Work Item.

If you have large no of Work Items and large no of files, you can write a smapp application that uses OM to update all the scenarios by attaching the files. All the attachments you probably can organize in a common folder and a subfolder with name as Bug Id. Have a loop to attach all the files under that folder. Please let me know if you have need any additional information on this.

Extensibility is great, but this kind of functionality should have been available even in V1. One of my colleagues was joking about it: Did we buy an application or an SDK ?
