Firstly, does anyone else think it would be a good idea to have a forum devoted to TFS Custom Controls?

Secondly, I'm using Naren's excellent article on custom controls to start building an example, but the IWorkItemControl does not have the same interface as mentioned here (so the code sample does not build). He mentions an AfterUpdateDatasource event and there is no mention of the FlushToDatasource method.

Has anyone else been building custom controls? How have you implemented the FlushToDatasource method?

Of late I am very much surprised to see questions floating about Custom controls in this forum. Indeed I have started working on these custom controls and have had many problems in getting Naren's sample custom control work. And yesterday I started creating my own checkbox, whose purpose has not yet crossed my mind yet, but am looking forward to create one.

Since this is the Beta SP1, we might get many questions or queries regarding this custom control, so its better off, if we have a Sub-section under workitem tracking for Custom controls.

have you managed to create a control and see it on a work item form? I have one ready to deploy, but do not have the correct dlls to allow the import of the work item into TFS.
