i was just wondering how do you edit or delete the default reports in VSTS

Hi Kardi,

You can edit or delete the reports for the team projects that are already created by going to the following address http://localhost/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx in your Application Tier. On that page you will see one folder per team project created in the server and inside each folder you have the reports.

How to delete/edit report:

- Click on the Team Project folder and then click on the report.

- Now click on the "Properties" tab.

- To delete the report simply click on the "Delete" button.

- To edit the repot click on the "Edit" link and you will get the RDL of the report, you can change it and then you can update the report in the server using the "Update" link.

How to edit a report that is going to be reused by several projects:

- If you plan to customize a report and you want new projects to get this new report what you want to do is customize the report inside one of the OOB methodologies (Agile or CMMI) so that when new projects get created the customized version of the report gets deployed for that project. You can also create your own methodology with customized reports and create projects with that.
