I don't think there is anything out-of-the-box to do it, and I wouldn't recommend you to do it with Sql, as it's not recommended nor supported by Microsoft.

The thing which comes to my mind is use the WI object modelo to copy the WI you want to the new project, and close the old ones, as they can't be deleted also.
