I read through the instructions and successfully created a TFSDevelopers group that had Admin permission in TFS, Sharepoint, and Reporting Services. Next I installed Team Explorer on a separate client box (Windows 2003 Server, removed Internet Explore Enhanced Security Configuration from that box). I tried to connect to the TFS server. In the "Add team Foundation Server" box I typed the name of the TFS server and used the default port. Pressing OK gave the error message:
"The request failed with HTTP status 403: TF53011: <my user name> is not a licensed user...."
I also found that I could not access Team Explorer directly on the TFS server itself using the same account (Same message as above). I also found that TFSSetup *could* access Team Explorer both locally and from the client box.
I think this is a permissions problem but the error message ------ not a licensed user. ------. throws me. I installed the MSDN TFS 1.0 Workgroup edition (ISO image) but I thought that supported 5 users.
Any ideas appreciated.

P.S. Since TFS, Sharepoint, and Reporting Services work together why doesn't MS build a new Management tool whereby TFS changes are propagated to the others? As it presently stands, I am trying to learn TFS and finding that a comfort zone with Sharepoint and Reporting services would be helpful. (Only problem, is that I planned to investigate those packages next , not at the same time as TFS. To much)
