Hi all.

I have to install the TFS for our programmers department but I'm unable to get it working...

The server is W2k3 sp1, it's a single server install.

I followed every step in the installation manual but I'm still getting the error in the subject.
I read the post about this error but they could not help me. The security config for ie is not installed, when the website appears during setup it has ASP.NET 2.0, I put the tfsservice account in the local admin group (not in my first attemp but afterwards after getting the error).

I'm quite desperate now, has anyone another idea?

Where can I start troubleshooting?

the problem was my proxy settings in IE
