Hello,

I have installed VS 2005 Team Edition. From the Team Foundation installer, I tried to install Team Explorer.

In VS 2005, View->Oher Windows->Source Control Explorer provokes this error:

"Package 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.HatPackage, Microsoft.VisualStudio.TeamFoundation.VersionControl, version 8.0.0.0, etc.' failed to load properly."

When I go to Help->About, I get a similar message naming Microsoft.VisualStudio.TeamFoundation.TeamExplorer.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Also, what version of TFS have you installed? The issue in the forum post was related to B3R. You should be using the RTM version.
