how to remove the tfs addin for Office project?

After installing the team explorer, the office project began to malfunction, the most signifant one of which is that the task's schedule won't update if the subtask's schedule changes. the same problem doesn't occur in a normal setting (where the team explorer is not installed).

I don't want to go through the trouble of fixing it, so any idea how to remove the team explorere addin for the office software?

You need to edit a registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\MS Project\Addins\TfcOfficeShim.Connect

Set the 'LoadBehavior' key to '0' and the addin will not load at startup.
