TfsGssInit is expecting error number 400005, but it is not receiving it because:

SQL Error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: Error 400005, severity 16, state 1 was raised, but no message with that error number was found in sys.messages. If error is larger than 50000, make sure the user-defined message is added using sp_addmessage.

This very strange because the SQL file that installs the messages is the same SQL file that installs the stored procedures. Clearly, the stored procedure exists because that is what is raising the errror.

1) Are you running setup as a SQL admin? (a user in the sysadmin role)

2) Can you find the GSS error messages in sys.sysmessages? (Run this SQL): select * from sys.sysmessages where error >= 400000 and error <= 450000

3) If you cannot find the GSS error messages, try running this SQL as the user running setup: EXEC sp_addmessage 400000, 16, '%s: Unexpected Database Failure - Error %d executing %s statement for %s', @lang = 'us_english', @replace = replace

I want to confirm that your account has sufficient rights to register new messages.

4) Is this a clean install or are you upgrading to SP1 from V1? (behavior of installer will vary)
