Our developers trial period has expired and they're locked out of TFS. Is there anything I can do for today to get them up and running until I can test the upgrade?
Thanks,

JT,
Short answer, no. You need to do the upgrade.
You could try turning the clocks back on the server and all the client machines, but I wouldn't recommend it. RTM fixed many bugs from the RC version, also I'm pretty sure that the licensing conditions of the RC meant that it was against the terms to be using it once the RTM was available.
When you eventually purchase TFS, I'm not aware of any supplier that currently does electronic distribution of TFS so you need to order your TFS license in plenty of time so that you can enter the key before the RTM version expires. Upgrading from trial to RTM is a painless process of entering your product key in the appropriate screen.
The upgrade from RC to RTM went smoothly for me - took less than 10 minutes and the instructions were very good.
Cheers,
Martin.

We've had enough people hit this problem that we have invested in a solution to get people unblocked. We'll be rolling it out shortly. It enables people to get one 30 day extension of trial so they can unblock themselves in the event they are in the process of purchasing TFS when their trial expires. You may contact me at bharry@microsoft.com if you need to unblock yourself in the next few days (before we roll out a download site for the tool that does it).
