Multiple Team Projects can't specify which to use for "add t...

Hi,

I have multiple team projects one for each separate website we manage. The problem is that the add to source control automatically adds the items to the last team project i added. How can I change the mapped folder, or specify which team project to use?

Thanks,

Dan

Hello,

There is a concept of workspace and workspace mapping that you probable need to get familiar with (see the following MSDN article for a primer).

Also, if you are talking about having each file in website relating to different Team project, I doubt that it is possible. One Team project may contain several solutions but not vs. And I do not quite see why would one want to do that; are you trying to "share" code across several projects?

Hope that helps, Eugene

I have the same problem, I think. I am trying to add a solution to a Team Project, but I don't get the 'Add solution to source control' dialog. It just always adds the solution to the same team project.
Note: All my team projects are mapped to workspaces, so they are all valid for accepting code solutions. I have to perform the move manually aftwerwards, which is not nice.
Could anyone help?
