Team Studio builds successfully but Summary Build name access giv...

TF42004: Team Build failed to open folder \\srbuild\share\ThirdDebugBuild_20060220.8. Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

I get this error about unknown user or bad password after a successful team studio

build on client side accessing server. This upon clicking on the link under the Summary:

Build Name: entry.

Please note this \\srbuild\share was entered in UNC and has full permissions to the

TFS Service account as well as EVERYONE.

When I remote desktop to srbuild and follow the link as either TFSService builder

account or Administrator I can access all the files under \\srbuild\share via

Windows Explorer.

I have searched all the links on TF42002 but they do NOT related to unknown user

or password OR at this particular step of accessing the Summary: Build Name link.

The fact that the build successfully happened indicates that the build account have sufficient permission. When you click on the link in the Build Report the folder is opened using the credentials of the client's user. To verify he has all the permissions try the following

On the client machine go to Start->Run
