Unable to intercept double click on decorator positioned outside ...

Hi all,

As shown in this post,

It is possible to intercept double click on icon decorators. However, i don't know why but when I move my decorator outside of the shape it does work anymore.

Did somebody experienced the same problem and know how to fix the problem??
