I've been testing SDM features, creating logical datacenter, system, application and deployment diagrams.

And I was able to generate deployment report, but here's my question:

How can I do an automated deployment (install web applications, configure IIS, windows) from that? Do I have to do it manually or visual studio does it for me?

Thank you for your question. The deployment report is generated as HTML and XML. You can use the XML version to create scripts for deployment.
