Hi

I'm using the application designer to model my solution and try name my projects withe the ms pattern:

Company.NameProduct.Componentt

But when I try to set the field Project in a Windows application element on the property page I get the following error:

'Porperty Value is not valid'

In ASP.NET Web application all works fine.

Any clue?

This is a bug in the product. You can log the bug at http://connect.microsoft.com/feedback/default.aspx?SiteID=210 and we will investigate the cause. In the meantime you can work around the problem by creating the Windows project in your solution using the naming convention described above and the Application Designer will successfully reverse engineer the project.
