I am trying to install Visual studio team system client on my machine. My machine is XP/XP2 and has VS2005 and WinFX components installed with Office2000 & Office 2007. The setup starts and reaches the licensing screen after which it stops and nothing happens. There is no error message shown. However there is an entry in the eventlog

and it sounds like a hardware issue.

Hi Jignesh,

It resolved to be due to corrupted .Net2.0 on the machine. A format and a clean installation helped in solving the issue.
