I'm having a problem working with Source Control Explorer in Visual Studio 2005... I have installed the version for Software Testers... I thought that this version was fully featured (like the developer version) with the additional ability to do web and load testing.

I've setup a Team Foundation Server, and I am an admin on the server... I have created a few projects in the Team Explorer.

My problem is that my Source Control Explorer is severely crippled. All of the toolbar buttons are disabled, and on my File - Source Control... menu, I'm missing a number of things, including the Workspaces... option.

Any ideas?

This is a known issue when TFS is not selected as the source control plugin.

Please go to Tools->Options->Source Control and make sure Microsoft Team Foundation Server is chosen as the SCC plug in.
