I would like to try and build my first software factory and have read the documentation and loaded the tools required. However, when I start the Guidance package template, I get a mass of code that I guess is not needed for my package.

When one starts a new guidance package, is it best to start with the template provided and delete what is not required or to start fresh and add what is needed.
