Where's "what's new" on August 2006 MSDN Library?

I installed the Aug 2006 MSDN library, but it no longer comes up with a link to the list of new articles on the library. Talk about wasting my time trying to find just the new stuff to read!

Is such a list still there? If so, how do I find it? If not, can someone please put it back?!?

Hi Larry,

From within VS 2005:

  1. Open the Help Contents window with Contents > Filtered by: set to "unfiltered".
  2. Expand "Help on Help (Microsoft Document Explorer Help)"
  3. Expand "Microsoft Document Explorer Overview"
  4. Click on the "What's New in Document Exploration" topic.

The topics on this page are the same as in the "What's New" section of the opening page of the Library rendered by using the Document Explorer from the desktop: Start > Programs > Microsoft Developer Network > MSDN Library - August 2006.

Hope this helps

Hello,

I'm not sure what happened but here are a couple links to What's New topics on MSDN:

I think the original poster is asking, not what's new on MSDN the site, but what's new in the August 2006 version of the Library, as in what documents were added since the May edition. I'm very interested in this as well.

Re Chuck Healherly's post: Yes, that's exactly what I was asking about.

The whats new topic has been missing from Libraries based on Visual Studio 2005. We will revisit having a what's new topic in future releases.
