The Guidance Package Manager is showing in the enable/disable screen several packages that were created while learning the GAT. Unfortunately, all the files associated with these packages have been deleted from the computer. I can not uninstall the extensions because it thinks those packages are still installed. I tried to uninstall manually using InstallUtil, but since the dll and/or xml files are gone, that will not work. Further, my local tech support manually deleted some registry keys that had the package name listed in a value, thinking that would remove the registrations.
Is there any way short of uninstalling visual studio ( if that is even enough) to remove these registrations so that I can start over with a clean slate. |
