Yes - as Tim shows we are making a big bet on guidance automation in the patterns & practices team for our new Software Factory deliverables.
In the short term we plan on releasing a new CTP of GAT and GAX which will be a minor maintenance release from the current December 2005 CTP (mainly bug fixes and some usability improvements)
In the longer term we hope to support more advanced guidance automation scenarios and hopefully integrate many of these features directly into Visual Studio. However at this stage we don't have solid plans or timeframes for this work.
So in the meantime GAT and GAX are likely to retain the CTP label while we figure out the longer term roadmap, but we will be building some great p&p deliverables on top of the current releases and we'll make sure adopters of the current GAT/GAX don't get left behind.
Hope this helps
