Hi GAT team!

I managed to install the GAX and GAT CTP June 06 on a Vista 5456 box.

But when I try to create a new guidance package the Guidance Package Project Template is missing! Do you have any idea what could have went wrong? I installed the msi's using the Run as Administrator account. As an additional information (might help) I also installed the Visual Studio 2005 SDK CTP July 06.

OK, so I did some more tests on here; first at all I enabled the Administrator account which is by default off. Then I installed the GAX/GAT June 06 CTP under the Administrator account and there it worked, that means I could see the Guidance Package Solution/Project Templates. So I tought great and logged off and logged in under my normal Vista account, you know the one that you get by the first installtion of Vista. But I could not see the Guidance Project Visual Studio Templates, arrrghhhhh!

Ok, so I uninstalled the GAX/GAT under the Administrator account, rebooted and tried to reinstall the GAX/GAT June 06 CTP under my normal Vista account using the runas command prompt utility, but guess what! Under the Vista 5456 build the Administrator  password is blank and blank is not allowed as a password for the runas utility, for security reasons of course, which is a good thing, but how on earth do I get the Guidance Package Visual Studio Template get to work under the normal Vista account, which is the pseudo Administrator account type, ahm, and before I forget to mention thie, I have the UAC disabled. Before you get to the idea that I could change the Administrator password, guess what; that is not allowed!

Please let me know of there is any workaround.

Regards,
Andreas
