Express Activation Website and Key

Does anyone know how I can get to the website for registration?
I can't get the activation key thing to work. I keep getting page not
found error.

If you are trying to register any of the Express Editions (other than SQL Express), you must do so from inside the product. There is not a registration web site.

Please see the Registration FAQ. Note that registration requires you to set your default browser to IE (Q #8) and that you must successfully validate your e-mail address (or altready have a validated e-mail address) affiliated with your Passport account in order to be shown the registration (activation) key for the product.

If these suggestions do not help, please be more specific as to what is happening other than you "can't get the activation thing to work." :-)

Hi,

I have a similar problem, I go to register the product, log-in to my passport account and the website just seems to stall; no errors, just a blank page.

Any help is appreciated.

Maybe server overload.. hehe.

EDIT: seems to work now after retrying it over and over for an hour it finally went through.

Hello,
I have experienced this kind of probem when I pushed "regiser now" buttom just a IE blank page was displayed with these different symptoms : title bar blank and internet options undisplayable.

I am going around in circles. I have registered but only get to the page outlining the benefits of so doing. I have not received a 'welcome' message in my hotmail inbox There does not appear to be a place to insert a 'key' in the software.

The promise of some eye candy, and ebooks to help a novice like myself (and my family) to use the new Visual Studio Express suite remains unfulfilled Sad
